Good evening everyone, this is (Name & Callsign), located in (City), Oregon. I will be your Net Control operator this evening for the South Lane Amateur Radio Association net.
This net meets every Thursday night at 7 PM, local time on this frequency. The purpose of this net is to promote Amateur Radio activities in our local area and to be a source of information for members of the South Lane Amateur Radio Association "aka" SLARA.
All licensed amateur operators are invited to participate and ask questions. You do not have to be a member of SLARA to participate. I will call for visitors and new operators after our member roll call.
